Mammillaria spinosissima

Mammillaria spinosissimag grows in a cylindrical shape up to 20 to 30cm in height and about 10cm in diameter.   It is covered with ivory to reddish-brown spines.

Many magenta flowers bloom into a ring form at around the apex of the stock.
